This was the worst ? decision I have ever made to have this surgery done for trigger finger by Dr. Alani!. My surgery was done last year and the best feeling I've ever had was the day of the surgery.
And every day after was horrible ?
I revisited Dr. Alani twice after my surgery with complaints of pain and both times I was treated with a dismissive attitude by Dr. Alani.
As though he hadn't time for me.
I felt a lack of concern for my complaints.
Now this is months later and my finger can't bend and the pain is worst than my initial problem, the trigger finger. ?
I would never recommend Dr. Alani to anyone.
He lacks compassion.

I visited Dr. Alani several years ago after I tweaked my knee and was experiencing some pain. I came in and before he even saw and MRI or touched my knee, he was already talking about cutting me open for surgery. Thankfully I have a friend who is a orthopedic surgeon in another city and called him for a second opinion about the procedure and sent him my MRI. He was shocked that Dr. Alani would recommend such a drastic treatment, much less before seeing an MRI. I took my friends advice which was just to work on improving strength and flexibility over time. I never let Dr Alani cut me open and laser shrink my ACL and I’m SO GLAD I listened to my friends advice. I’m in peak shape with no pain.

Come to find out, a close friend of mine had an ankle injury and coincidentally visited Dr Alani several months ago. Before even seeing an MRI or touching his ankle, Alani was already talking about cutting him open for a surgery that would almost bankrupt my friend. Thankfully he went for a second opinion and found a doctor that treated him without invasive surgery. Imagine that.

I would strongly suggest a second or third opinion before following through with Dr. Alani. As for me, I will never step foot in his office ever again.

This physician is exemplary at his vocation. He listens attentively to his patients, has a keen analytical mind, performed a hip procedure on me a few days ago and I am just now reaping the benefits of his professional expertise. And he is a hoot. Love this doc

Horrible with following up. My 1st appointment I was told to come back 1 month later for check up. On my way out the receptionist made no note or had no idea. I had to call back and remind them if we still needed to do a check up and then an appointment was set up after I called. I’m having to play middle man between the insurance company and their office (Janet) and I’ve just about given up. Thanks
