My sister came in for sudden severe abdominal pain, and the doctors were kind, understanding, and had excellent bedside manner. They offered tests and medications and didn't pressure her to do anything she didn't feel comfortable with. (Which is honestly what we should be able to expect but, unfortunately a lot of ER experiences are not this positive.) I wanted to leave this review because I noticed the reviews are low here, we were treated respectfully here as visibly queer people. and they had a very clean environment, good follow through, and not too busy which was great. All emergency rooms should have the resources they need to function well and be able to deliver care the way NW did for my sister in a really scary moment. Thank you all.

I brought my sister here for extreme abdominal pain. They at first did not allow me back and when they did and When I tried to talk to the nurse she had a rude tone and dismissed my concerns. Later our father arrived who is a doctor, my sister did not want him to come back so I went out to talk to him. When I came back the nurse accused me of pressuring my sister to have him come back which was not true. This nurse also had a nasty tone and was dismissive and rude in her language choices. The female Nurses were so incredibly rude.

Had to leave a review about how great my experience was at this emergency on my recent visit. I arrived Saturday afternoon during a very concerning medical issue and was immediately seen to. Staff were very quick to begin diagnostics and the doctor continued to check in on me frequently as my symptoms continued. I definitely recommend this hospital.

Wife took our son here after exhibiting signs of heat exhaustion and dehydration progressively getting worse with the evening. Took him into the triage room and after Dr. Kurt Kaczander "evaluated" him, he acknowledged dehydration but then prepared for discharge. I got there from work as the nurse was walking in to discharge him. Instructions were to "keep doing what you're doing and drink water." I asked to speak with the doctor, who came in. I asked about receiving an IV to aide in hydration (rehydration 101 in the medical field) and he looks at me and firmly said "he doesn't need it. His tone is fine and he's got saliva in his mouth" And said to keep giving him fluids at home. He also suggested that it could've beg a stomach virus, which he prescribed an anti nausea med for (which also could've been provided in the ER while getting an IV). Bedside manner was awful. 20 minutes tops of being at the hospital... never made it last triage. But you better believe we'll be billed as if he were a full blown treated patient.

Took him to a different provider who ran labs and gave him an IV, bringing life back into our son. Shame on this healthcare "provider" who will only provide an ER bill in the end I'm sure. Will be filing a formal complaint in the coming days.

I’ve never felt so dismissed than I have in today’s visit. The nurse rushed me through the series of questions and seemed bothered when I took a while trying to explain what was going on. Then, Dr Robert Orava came in and asked what was going on. I began to tell him that I was suffering from chronic headaches and had a lot of pressure and pain in my ears and sinuses. Before I could even finish my explanation, he started to quickly examine me and then told me that I had an upper respiratory infection. I asked if my ears were infected and he said no. I asked what it was that was infected and he said it was just upper respiratory but wouldn’t tell me how he came to that conclusion. He said he was going to prescribe a steroid and inhaler. He wasn’t in the room 2 minutes and the visit was over. The discharge process took longer than the whole visit from the time I walked in!
They acted as though I was interrupting their day, and my problems were not worthy of their time and efforts.

We read the reviews once we got a room, both wife and me were concerned about the service.
Both the Nurse (Freida) and the Doctor (Amobi) were amazing.
Long waiting, but they gave us a great service, I feel bad about the people who had a bad experience.

Absolute horrendous visit.

Quick update.... Due to the terrible care and choices made by the staff here my husband's hand is barely healing. When the staples were removed his wound reopened. He should have had stitches, not staples.

Quick summary: they stapled his hand, gave him poor care, staff stole his information, and refuse to do anything about it.

My husband had gashed his hand open, so we came here. The staff member in charge of repairing his hand mutilated it with the needle she was using to numb his hand. She had so much of his raw tissue coming out. It was much worse after she injected his hand. Now that his hand is mostly numb, she brings out STAPLES to close the wound. A choice that does not make sense. She prescribed the lowest pain medication possible, similar to over the counter. My husband made it known he was still in immense pain, and all the doctor said was, "Yeah, you have staples in your hand" in broken English. Not only did they treat my husband extremely poorly, but the receptionist STOLE my husband's state ID and insurance card. We tried to speak to their staff but received absolutely no help. They refused to contact the employee. They were rude and raised their voices to us, insisting they gave us back his property. When, in fact, their receptionist came into our room HOURS after being admitted to take his ID and insurance card, then failed to come back and return it to us. We contacted the director of the hospital and found no help there either. All of the staff is negligent and refuses to return his belongings or to pay for the replacements of these items. Because not only are we responsible for medical bills, apparently we are responsible for their staff's illegal activities.

Referred there by Nextcare on Cortaro for ultra sound. They did. Ot have the machine on site so referred me to northwest out patient for procedure. Overall staff was professional and pleasant and I got in and out fast!
